Biography

Born into a family of Soviet citizens in Constanza, Rumania, in 1955.
In 1956 the family moved to Pavlovsky Posad, Moscow region.

Graduated from the Moscow Art School (1972-1978) and the Surikov Art Insitute, Moscow (1978-1984).
Lived in Moscow 1981-90.
Lived in Italy 1990-96.
Lives in Cologne, Germany, from 1996.
